Why More and More Companies Are Choosing to Phone a Friend Jun 27th
As the demand for instant and constant streams of communication has grown over time, businesses have had to adapt to this ever increasing volume of calls, texts and voicemails. Often, this can be too much for the in-house secretary, desk attendant or assistant. Especially with larger companies, it is almost impossible to maintain a small group of dedicated customer service representatives without the workload becoming overwhelming. This is why, in recent years, communication services, from a nearshore call center, to automated virtual assistants, have begun to pop up and offer a multitude of outside services to aid larger companies in dealing with the volume of customer relations that they have to monitor on a daily basis. These businesses often assist secretaries and personal assistants in handling one mode of communication so that they are more open to handling other aspects of client communication and involvement. Project Estimation – How it can be simplified? May 4th
Project Estimation is one of the major aspects of Project management. You cannot work on the project without a proper estimation in terms of the resources and cost. You will have no targets and no cost limits without estimation. Estimation sets the limits to your resources including employees, cost and time to be utilized for a project. It gives the clients a rough idea of how much effort is required to complete a project under the current circumstances. As far as the contractor or the organization is concerned it is the base for determining the cost of the project, the time required for completion and the number resources required to be allotted to the project for timely completion. These form the basis for quoting the final rates to the client and the benchmark based on which the project will be planned and executed. Very little if anything at all is fixed these days, in some instances this includes even the core business. Let’s look at some practical examples; the biggest social networking site essentially generates advertising dollars out of monetising content, yet they don’t produce any of the content themselves.
